Improved Bus Service Will Make it EASIER to Get to Disney Springs

Improved Bus Service Will Make it EASIER to Get to Disney SpringsDisney has implemented new transportation inside Walt Disney World property that may help you with your traveling needs. Disney has added a set of buses for the theme parks that will take you directly to Disney Springs!

In the past it has been so hard to get to Disney Springs from the parks. As many of you might already know, buses to Disney Springs only left from resorts. This was always such an inconvenience. If you chose to drive you own car to Disney Springs, then you had to deal with the parking nightmare. With this new transportation system in place you can take a bus and go from any Disney Theme Park to Disney Springs. No more going to your resort hotel from a park then catching a bus to Disney Springs. You can go straight to Disney Springs and you don’t have to worry about parking! We call that a WIN.

When and How will this Happen

Beginning August 28, 2016. guests will be able to take a direct bus from a theme park to Disney Springs. This service will be offered from 4:00pm to 11:00pm or 2 hours after a park closes, whichever occurs first. But, don’t expect a bus from Disney Springs back to the theme parks. You will need to take a bus or water taxi back to a resort and then take a separate mode of transportation to your Disney theme park of choice.

Be sure to keep check on your reservation times and ALWAYS allow for extra time when going to and from Disney Springs.

Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter Resorts, Saratoga Springs Resort and Old Key West Resort all offer water taxi service to and from Disney Springs.

If you drive to Disney Springs, take note of which parking garage or area where you park your car. If you aren’t familiar with the area, it can be quite confusing.

Grab a map of Disney Springs as soon as you arrive to minimize walking distances.

Plan an “official” rest day during your vacation. You can spend it at the resort pool and Disney Springs. This area has so much to offer, including some of the best restaurants and shopping on property! If you plan a whole day, you won’t worry about being late or missing something at the parks!
