5 Money Saving Snacks You Can Find In Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios was once an overlooked park for a lot of guests, but with the addition of Star Wars’ Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land, this park is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

It’s also home to some of the best food options at the parks – from sit-down meals to quick and easy snacks. Today, we’re all about the snacks – especially the ones that can help you stretch your dining dollar.

Not only are all of the snacks on this list inexpensive – they are shareable, too! Most of them can also be purchased by redeeming a Disney Snack Credit if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan.

Without further ado, let’s get into the snacks!

It has to be said. Disney’s Popcorn is always one of the best snack buys you can make.

While a carton of popcorn only costs $5.50, the best cost savings is purchasing a refillable popcorn bucket for usually around $12.00 and you can have it refilled for around $2.25 throughout your entire stay – plus the bucket makes for a cool souvenir that you can use for family movie nights at home. These popcorn buckets are good for your full stay at the parks.

If you’re heading to Epcot you can get a $2 refill of the Maple Popcorn at the Canada Pavilion and (when it reopens) Sour Cream & Chive, Cheddar, and Buffalo Bleu Cheese at the popcorn stand located just outside of Journey into Imagination.

The cupcake options at Hollywood Studios are ever-changing but they are always the top of any Best Disney Cupcakes list!

The portion sizes for these cupcakes are huge – they are about the size of a jumbo muffin you can get at a coffee shop, plus they are topped with plenty of frosting and often a sweet treat on top, so for the $4-6 cost you can get a snack that will easily satiate two people.

One of the most popular flavors is the Butterfinger Cupcake at the Trolley Car Café – but my personal favorite is the Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake.

Have you tried Woody’s Lunch Box yet? If not, it’s a must try!

They serve these delicious things called “totcho’s” which are tater tots with chili and cheese and sour cream. They cost $8.99, however this is another snack that is begging to be shared.

At Woody’s, you can very easily use the mobile ordering. This area of the park is rather small and seating can be hard to find. We found using mobile ordering and finding somewhere else to sit in a shady spot is a great idea. You can see great views of the Slinky Dog ride and enjoy a nice filling snack.

Okay, so this may be a little controversial as to whether or not it is considered frugal, but considering how many people can share this I am going to count it as frugal!

I had heard a lot of hype about these cookies and saw so many pictures online but I was still pretty skeptical that it was going to be all that great. I mean, it’s just a chocolate chip cookie right? Wrong! It is SO good – served warm, baked perfectly with crunchy edges and a soft middle and it’s oh-so chocolatey!

At $5.79 this giant chocolate chip cookie is more like a mini pie than a cookie and it can easily be split between two people. (They also have gluten-free cookie options.)

I think it’s getting obvious I like Woody’s Lunch Box!

An honorable mention on our list are the Woody’s Lunch Box Tarts available in Chocolate-Hazelnut and special seasonal flavors (currently Raspberry and Lemon Blueberry). At $4.29 they are a great buy because these gourmet-style poptarts are shareable.

This is possibly my favorite snack in the park, so much so that I even figured out the recipe so I can make it at home. (Grab our Carrot Cake Cookies recipe here.)

It’s like a whoopie pie with soft carrot cake for the cookies and a cream cheese frosting for the filling. I don’t include this in the main list as it’s not as generous of a serving as the other offerings but it’s a personal favorite so I had to mention it!
