Backstory

Okay, here is the deal! I grew up on Mary Poppins and I absolutely adore her. I watched her on VHS (remember VHS? That shows my age doesn’t it?) and would dance and sing with her like she was my nanny. I am still infatuated with her and will knock a kid down to meet her at Disney. I know, I am mean, but a girl has to do what a girl has to do. My own daughter knows that Mom needs her time with Mary Poppins alone, before she pops into the pic with us. (Don’t judge me!)

When I saw these bags I knew I had to have one! It brought back a piece of my childhood and made me think of simpler times. OKay, now I am going a little overboard, but it’s the truth. Mary Poppins just lights my fire and makes me happy!

Mary Poppins And Dooney Bourke Team Up For The Ultimate Bag

One of the most beautiful people I know (inside and out) saw these bags at the Co Op in Disney Springs and gave us a tour of the bags you can choose from. Adrienne, AKA, @disneytripsandsips on Instagram was kind enough to show us the magic of these special bags. By the way, if you do not follow her on Instagram, you need to! The Mary Poppins Dooney and Bourke’s come in three different sizes:

1. Crossbody Wallet: The Crossbody Wallet retails for $178 and has the most amazing purple lining! This bag is comparably small to the other bags, so keep that in mind when deciding on which bag is right for you.
2. The Satchel: This is the medium sized bag and it has a full image design on the front and the smaller pattern on the side. The satchel has a zip top closure which can help keep your items private. This bag retails for $298.
3. The Tote: The tote bag does not have a zipper closure on top like the Satchel. I love the overall print of this considering the size. This bag retails for $268.

Where To Buy

These bags are available on the Shop Disney Parks App. They have been spotted at Uptown Jewelers at Magic Kingdom, Mousegear at Epcot and The Marketplace Co Op at Disney Springs. We have also been told they were released at Disneyland, as well. If you are a Disneyland local we would love to hear if you have seen them anywhere.
