A First Look At ‘UP! A Great Bird Adventure’ In Disney’s Animal Kingdom

This brand new show JUST debuted today (April 22, 2018) in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Just in time for the parks 20th Anniversary Event, this new show did NOT disappoint! Walt Express’ very own Paten was gracious enough to share with us this amazing show!

The 25-minute show features Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell and his furry friend Dug, from the Disney•Pixar animated film “UP,” as they discover bird species from around the world. Led by senior Wilderness Explorer Anika, “UP! A Great Bird Adventure” features a close-up look at various bird species from around the globe – including the marabou stork with an impressive 10-foot wingspan.

The 20th Anniversary Celebration (Party for the Planet)  will be going on for a few more days, so you still have time to join in all of the festivities! Click HERE for all of the happenings during this magical celebration! Exact dates are April 22-May 5, 2018. During this time, Rafiki’s Planet Watch will take center stage for the celebration, which will offer backstage experiences that allow guests to learn about animal nutrition, visit the veterinary hospital, or hear how Disney promotes global wildlife conservation.
