| | |

Well…. another week of news and thrills from Disney. Some good, some bad.. I guess it depends on the way you look at it, but nonetheless, news! So here we go, here is your Weekly Roundup: Jungle Cruise, Blizzard Beach and Disney Cruise Line.

Weekly Roundup: Jungle Cruise, Blizzard Beach and Disney Cruise Line

Here’s what you can expect in this post:

  • The Jungle Cruise Disneyland and Magic Kingdom
  • Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
  • Blizzard Beach
  • Disney Cruise Line Suspension of Select DCL Departures

Disney announced last week that the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland and at Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World will be getting a makeover. The interactive experience will be getting even more interaction and experiences once this enhancement is done. Disney has not said exact dates of when this is happening, except it will be in the future. Disney said changes being made to the ride will make it feel more inclusive and less racially insensitive in its depiction of other cultures. You can read more about it HERE for more information.

Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival is a month away and we are excited about the fun things that Disney has planned. Disney released an article last week explaining all of the fun and new things coming to the festival.

I am especially excited for the scavenger hunts during the Easter season (March 19 – April 4). You can also take part in the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt to find Disney pals and their oversized eggs all around the World Showcase.

For all of you Blizzard Beach fans, get ready, because it is about to reopen! Cast members are working hard to prepare Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park for its reopening on March 7, 2021. If you’re planning a 2021 Disney vacation or a day trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach, now is the perfect time to get your Disney One Day Water Park tickets (without blockout dates), now available for $69 + tax (Adult) and $63 + tax (ages 3 – 9). Other ticket options are also available. Talk to your travel agent about your options. Disney says: “When Disney’s Blizzard Beach reopens, it will operate in alignment with the health and safety protocols implemented throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including reduced capacity, temperature screenings, physical distancing and face coverings.”
