It was an interesting week at Disney World and Disneyland to say the least. Lots of things happened for sure. So without further ado, here we go with our Weekly Roundup: Magical Express, Vaccine Sites and Passholder Changes.
Weekly Roundup: Magical Express, Vaccine Sites and Passholder Changes
Here’s what you can expect in this post:
- Magical Express Changes
- Disney C-19 Vaccine Super Sites
- Disneyland Annual Passports
- Become a Disney Travel Planner
Magical Express
First thing is first, let’s start with Magical Express. If you were a big fan of the Magical Express, well….. come 2022 it will be no more. Disney was faced with some not-so-happy-campers last week. But hey, I guess Disney has to do, what they have to do. Hopefully, they have other plans up there sleeve. Knowing Disney, I am sure they do. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds in the coming year. You can read more about the 2022 Magical Express changes HERE and make up your own mind. We would love to hear what you think about it. Will it be a good or bad thing for you and your family to not have the option of Magical Express? Comment below and let us know what you think. ????
Disneyland Vaccine Super Site
Next on the list, Disneyland! Disneyland as of January 11 was one of the C-19 vaccination super sites. Vaccination tents are set up in the north of the Toy Story parking lot at Disneyland Resort. The parking lot is located off Katelia Avenue and sits southeast of Disneyland. County officials announced the deal, Monday January 11, to use the theme park in its effort to ramp up inoculations as the number of Orange County residents hospitalized with the virus hovers above 2200. Like it or not it’s there. Don’t shoot the messenger. We are just reporting the facts! If you would like to see their setup, you can see videos of the super site on our Instagram profile, then head to the highlight: “Disneyland Super Site”. You can also read more about it HERE.
Disneyland Passholder Changes
Next and last thing on the list would be the sad news of sunsetting the current Disneyland Annual Passholder program, including the Premier Passport. According to Disney, “In the next couple of days they will be issuing appropriate refunds for eligible Disneyland Resort Annual Passports and sunsetting the current Annual Passport program due to the continued uncertainty of the pandemic and limitations and expected restrictions around the reopening of our theme parks.”
