BREAKING NEWS: runDisney Announces New Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon

Run 13.1 miles in your own galaxy far far away with this new runDisney Star Wars virtual half marathon. In a slightly unprecedented move runDisney has added this amazing virtual run to it’s line up. With an entry fee of $59 you know this one should be on any runners to do list.  And as a bonus this allows runners that were planning on completing the Kessel Run Challenge to have it as an option again! With the discontinuation of the Light Side Half Marathon (and all other runs in California for the foreseeable future) this is an awesome addition.  What ever the choice, I am sure it will be out of this world!!!

The Star Wars Virtual runDisney Options!

Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon ONLY ($59): Register through runDisney and receive a virtual/downloadable race bid, and a finisher’s medal that will arrive in the mail.

BREAKING NEWS: runDisney Announces New Star Wars Virtual Half MarathonrunDisney Kessel Run Challenge ONLY (&69): This is ONLY for those that have ALREADY registered for the runDisney Star Wars Dark Side half marathon or the First Order challenge in April.

runDisney Kessel Run Challenge Bundle: This specific link is separate from the general registration link, but will allow you to register for both the Kessel Run Challenge AND the Dark Side half marathon or the First Order Challenge for the weekend of April 19-22nd.

Then What?

Once you are finished with your amazing adventure through the Dagobah System or the Outer Rim you will head to the finisher website and download your personalized race certificate!!!

If you are doing any Kessel Run Challenge, you will receive that medal after the completion of the Dark Side half marathon down in Disney World in April.

 

With the release of Star Wars The Last Jedi and the soon to be completed Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge it only seems fitting that runDisney start here.
