Check out 6 Things You Should Not Miss Seeing in Disney World. You won’t be sorry! So take the adventure with us as we stroll down memory lane and dream of taking these adventures someday soon!

We know you are a Disney expert, but even some of these fun things surprised us at one time or another. These are adventures and attractions that do not get talked about much, but yet can pack a punch in your Disney World experience! So let’s get started!

6 Things You Should Not Miss Seeing in Disney World

6) Behind The Seeds Greenhouse Tour

6 Things You Should Not Miss Seeing in Disney WorldThis one is perfect if you have a homeschooler or if you pulled your kids out of school for this magical family vacation! Not only will they have fun, but it is also educational! If you like the Living with the Land attraction at Epcot you will love this behind the scenes adventure. This tour takes you behind the scenes of this attraction and allows you to see the fish farms and greenhouses. Anyone interested in science or gardening would love this extra!

5) Harmony Barber Shop

Did you know you can get your haircut at the Magic Kingdom? Well, you can and not for an arm and a leg either. The Harmony Barber Shop has reasonable prices and even does first haircuts! If you schedule your child’s first haircut there, you will even get a special surprise. My family and I love doing this almost every trip! It is worth it, I promise! It would be an experience your child will never forget!

4) Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage

If your kid is into pirates or even if they aren’t, this is still an experience of a lifetime. This adventure starts at the Contemporary Resort and takes you on an unforgettable voyage through the Seven Seas Lagoon. The whole time you will get to eat snacks and watch the fireworks. I don’t know about you, but I just may feel like a princess and not a pirate after that kind of voyage. Don’t tell the pirates!

3) Flag Retreat

My family and I have seen this on several occasions and it is a really cool thing to see. It is not a huge show and it does not scream “look at me, look at me”, but it does show a patriotic side that is unforgettable. This is a perfect extra for anyone and everyone! Make sure to gather in town square on Main Street U.S.A. to watch Magic Kingdom park’s American flag retire for the night. Check a Times Guide or your Disney App for times.

6 Things You Should Not Miss Seeing in Disney World2) Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial

Yep you read right! Captain Jack Sparrow tutors your little one to be the best pirate they can be! Located in Adventureland, your child will walk away with some pretty mighty lessons. Boys and girls alike can participate in this grand adventure, but make sure you raise your hand high to get picked. Get ready for an amazing sword fight. But that is only the beginning! There is so much more to this show, but we won’t spoil all the fun. Check this one out next time and make sure you take what you learned into the rest of your day at Magic Kingdom!

1) Electrical Water Pageant

This extra is one that a lot of people forget about and it is a shame, because after a long day at the parks it is very relaxing and low-key. It is definitely something to see. The parade displays its many different designs as it lights up the lagoon and passes by many resorts on Disney property. Listen closely for some classic Disney tunes that are synchronized with the lights.

All of these little hidden gems are sights to see and will not disappoint. What would you add to the list?
