What To Expect In Disney World During The Month Of July
Summer has hit the Disney World Parks and Walt Express has everything you will need to know for a magical vacation during the month of July. Will it be crowded during this time? Will the heat be too unbearable? No worries, we have you covered!
Disney World During July
There is a lot going on this summer, making it the “hottest” summer ever! And, we aren’t talking about the temperatures! Those temperatures WILL BE quite toasty by July, but don’t let that stop from the most magical vacation you will ever have!
Magical Happenings During July
- Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration is going on now through September 2019.
- H2O Glow Nights is BACK! Return to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. This is a special event and you have to purchase a separate ticket to participate, but it’s tons of fun! July Dates for H2O Glow Nights are as follows: July 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27, 2019; August 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24, 2019.
- Disney World during the FOURTH OF JULY. There will be celebrations everywhere at Disney World for the Fourth of July. The most crowded park will be Magic Kingdom. Make plans to arrive early and stay late! You won’t want to miss any of the festivities!!
A little breaking news: Dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party were just released! PLUS, dates for EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival!! So exciting! Are you planning on visiting Disney World for these fantastic events?
Weather In July
July at Disney World means hot temps, but with a good plan, it’s totally manageable! If July is your Disney month, we suggest hitting the parks early, head back to the resort for some rest and pool time, then to the parks again in the late evening. Orlando is famous for those summer evening showers. Don’t run! Grab a poncho and have a great time! The showers usually don’t last long at all!
Crowds In July
In the past few years, July has seen lower than normal crowds. Will this be the trend this year? No one knows for sure. With Star Wars Land opening August 29, guests may move their trips to the summer to avoid the crowds that this new land will definitely bring. Then again, guests may wait until the fall so they can experience Star Wars Land when it opens. I know that is a pretty vague idea, but when it comes to crowds, it can be hit or miss!
Check out the CROWD CALENDAR over at Dad’s Guide to WDW to find out what Dad predicts the crowds for July will look like.
